Now Accepting Proposals for the 2025 LGBTQ+ Summit

The 7th Annual California Community Colleges LGBTQ+ Summit, a higher education conference to support and create resources for LGBTQ+ individuals, will take place online April 15-16, 2025.
This year’s event, “We are the ones we have been waiting for: The LGBTQ+ CCC Revolution,” emphasizes the collective commitment to creating thriving, supportive environments for LGBTQ+ students. The summit serves as a space for students, faculty, classified professionals and administrators to unite and focus on building lasting change for LGBTQ+ inclusion across our community colleges. Attendees will exchange ideas that will transform campuses to better serve and affirm LGBTQ+ students.
The summit is currently accepting proposals for summit presentations to share promising practices, programs, and initiatives to advance LGBTQ+ inclusion from both professionals and students. Presentations that address the experiences of LGBTQ+ students at the intersection of multiple systems of oppression are encouraged to submit proposals.
This summit is made possible by the strong partnership between FoundationCCC and the Chancellor’s Office, bolstered by the dedication and expertise of our extraordinary volunteer LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee. Each year, the event serves as a forum for collaboration among members of California community college campuses at all levels, where attendees can share innovative ideas to help transform campuses to better serve and support LGBTQ+ students.
